Opened in 2003, Esteem Guest House was the dream of Kofi and Adjoa Childs. Born in Philadelphia, USA they came home to Ghana to begin a long awaited journey to live, prosper and help others in the Motherland. Their dreams were realized with the opening of Esteem Guest House. Originally known as Esteem Kofi & Adjoa Motel, the establishment evolved from a empty field to the cozy, warm guest house it is today. Located at the junction of  Accra-Takaradi Road and Brenu Junction, it sits in a location close to many of the Cape Coast regions attractions.

  • Brenu Beach and Ampenyi Beach are a short drive away, where the ocean greets you with white foamed waves, palm trees and gentle breezes.  There you can watch the sunset on a beautiful Ghanaian evening
  • Elmina Castle, one of 3 slave castles in the Central Region of Ghana, where Africans were held prior to being taken from their homeland
  • University of Cape Coast, a fine institution of higher learning
  • Cape Coast Castle, situated in the heart of the city was built in the 17th century.
  • Kakum National Park - Kakum National Park protects plant and animal treasures of the African tropical forest. It hosts a rain forest canape walk way, one of only 3 in the world.
